Olenox Industries, an integrated energy and infrastructure company, reported mining 15.63 Bitcoin in August, marking a significant milestone in its strategy to integrate energy production with next-generation computing infrastructure.
According to the company, its 9,584-unit mining fleet achieved an average operational hashrate of approximately 1.03 exahashes per second (EH/s) during the month. This performance reflects the company's ongoing efforts to build a platform that connects energy resources with power-intensive infrastructure, leveraging its existing energy assets.
Olenox's mining operations are currently conducted at third-party hosting facilities drawing power from the ERCOT electrical grid. The company aims to convert its controlled natural gas into computing power at or near the point of generation, with the goal of lowering energy costs, monetizing available gas resources, and expanding into additional high-value computing applications.
McLaren added, "We see a significant opportunity to transform energy that may otherwise be constrained, stranded, or underutilized into a productive resource for computing. By bringing power generation and computing infrastructure closer together, we are working toward a more efficient and economically compelling operating model that can support Bitcoin mining today and broader digital and AI-driven infrastructure opportunities in the future."
The company plans to continue providing Bitcoin production and operating updates during the early part of each month, consistent with industry practices. Olenox is targeting power costs below $0.02 per kilowatt-hour for its planned gas-powered digital infrastructure, a goal that was not reflected in the August operating results.
Olenox Industries Inc. is focused on acquiring, developing, and operating assets across the oil and natural gas, energy services, power generation, modular infrastructure, and digital-compute sectors. Through its subsidiaries, the company is building a vertically integrated platform designed to connect energy resources with power-intensive infrastructure while delivering engineered and modular solutions across industrial markets.
The company's forward-looking statements include the integration of CS Digital's operations with Olenox's energy assets, the anticipated benefits of the CS Digital acquisition, and the development and scaling of gas-powered digital infrastructure. These statements are based on current estimates, expectations, and assumptions and are subject to risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially.
