New York Health Welcomes Urologist Dr. Jude Appiah

New York Health, a healthcare provider in Brooklyn, has announced the addition of Dr. Jude Appiah to its urology department. Dr. Appiah will be practicing at the practice’s office located at 175 Remsen Street, Suites 1225 and 1101, Brooklyn, NY 11201.

Dr. Rohit Reejsinghani, Chief Medical Officer of New York Health, expressed enthusiasm about Dr. Appiah’s arrival. "We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Appiah to our practice," he stated.

Dr. Appiah brings extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of urologic conditions. His training and clinical practice have equipped him with expertise in both medical and surgical management of urologic conditions. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from New York University School of Medicine after completing his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Brown University. Dr. Appiah completed his Urology Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Appiah has contributed to peer-reviewed research in urology and other areas of medicine. His research includes examining the association between patient race and physician visit time during new outpatient urology consultations, as well as the impact of kidney stones on congestive heart failure risk. He has also played an active role in mentoring medical students and junior trainees, helping connect them with research opportunities and members of the urology community.
