MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 2, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Two Minnesota business leaders have launched a campaign to raise money for the Smithsonian American Women's History Museum, a museum dedicated to recognizing and sharing women's contributions to American history. The Minnesota Challenge Campaign, which runs from November 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, has the potential to raise $100,000 for the museum. Rachel Schromen, Founder and Managing Attorney of Schromen Law, and Erin Pash, CEO and Founder of Pash Co and Founder of Ellie Mental Health, have committed a combined $50,000 to launch the campaign. They have also pledged to match it dollar for dollar up to $50,000 for every gift made by a Minnesotan.

The campaign is the first of its kind in Minnesota for the museum, which is part of the Smithsonian Institution. The goal of the Minnesota Challenge Campaign is to encourage Minnesotans to give to the museum and to help ensure that the museum's mission is supported. The campaign's launch coincides with the museum's broader Making History Network, which is a nationwide ambassador program that aims to advance the museum's outreach and fundraising goals by inspiring philanthropic support, strengthening the museum's presence in communities, and fostering connections.

Rachel Schromen and Erin Pash, who both built their businesses from the ground up, are committed to ensuring that women's contributions to American history are visible in the national record. They hope that the Minnesota Challenge Campaign will prompt both giving and a broader conversation about the people whose experiences, accomplishments, and contributions belong in American history.

Minnesotans can participate in the campaign by making donations during the campaign window, which will be matched until the $50,000 cap is reached. The campaign's success will depend on the generosity of Minnesotans, who will have the opportunity to double the impact of their contributions to the museum.
