MicroVision, a leader in advanced perception solutions for industrial, security, and defense, and automotive applications, has announced the granting of 674,536 restricted stock units (RSUs) to its newly appointed Chief Commercial Officer, James Byun, and 562,114 RSUs to Chief Financial Officer, Christine Chambers. The grants, made on September 2, 2026, are in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4) and are considered material inducements to their employment.
These RSUs are subject to a four-year vesting period, with 25% of the units vesting on each of the first, second, third, and fourth anniversaries of their start dates, contingent upon continuous service to the company. The RSUs are governed by the terms and conditions of MicroVision’s 2025 Inducement Equity Incentive Plan, as amended.

According to a statement from the company, "MicroVision’s strategic hires of James Byun and Christine Chambers reflect our commitment to expanding our leadership team and driving growth in key areas of our business. We are excited to have them join us and contribute to our mission of advancing perception solutions."
Byun and Chambers bring extensive experience to their new roles. Byun has a background in sales and marketing, having previously held senior positions at several tech companies. Chambers, with a career focused on finance and operations, has worked in various roles at major corporations.
