The event, which featured both in-person and virtual participation, saw a high level of engagement, with more than 79% of shares voted, representing 65,553,399 common shares of the corporation.
Among the elected directors is Alvaro Ossio, who brings over 25 years of experience in the mining and financial sectors to the board. Ossio’s extensive background includes senior finance roles at Minera Las Bambas S.A., Minsur S.A., BHP Base Metals Chile, and Compañía Minera Antamina S.A. His international experience spans Peru, Chile, and Brazil, where he has specialized in financial management, strategic planning, capital allocation, and operational transformation.
The meeting also approved the Board’s approach to executive compensation with 97% support and confirmed Deloitte LLP as the independent auditors of the corporation, with a similar 97% approval rate.
