MagTek Names Montgomery Reeder as Chief Sales Officer

Seal Beach, Calif., Sept. 17, 2026, MagTek, a global leader in secure payment technology and security solutions, has appointed Montgomery "Monty" Reeder as Chief Sales Officer, effective July 1, 2026. John Arato, who has been with the company for eight years, is stepping down into retirement.

Reeder brings extensive business-to-business sales experience and has a proven track record of strategic vision. During his tenure at MagTek, Reeder secured key accounts and built strategic partnerships. He advanced from regional sales manager in MagTek’s financial group to Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, where he managed and expanded accounts across the retail, hospitality, healthcare, financial, transportation, OEM, and restaurant sectors.

Monty Reeder will focus on strategic account revenue growth, building service subscriptions, and employing effective sales enablement tools. He will report directly to Andy Deignan, President and CEO of MagTek, and will serve on the company’s Leadership Team. Reeder will be responsible for accelerating scalable revenue growth by aligning strategic partnerships, strengthening internal sales systems, advancing hardware and service roadmaps, and identifying new opportunities to monetize MagTek’s products and services.
