NEW YORK, September 25, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Hunt Slonem's first major New York City exhibition in five years, "Through the Looking Glass," is set to close on Monday, September 28, at One Art Space in Tribeca. The exhibition, curated by One Art Space co-owner MaryAnn Giella McCulloh, brings together a range of paintings and sculptures featuring the artist's iconic subjects, including rabbits, butterflies, and birds.
The exhibition, which opened on September 10, showcases a variety of works, from large-scale paintings to smaller pieces and sculptures. One of the standout paintings is "Pink Ascension" (2021), a 77-by-101-inch oil on canvas filled with butterflies against a vivid pink ground. Nearby, "Blue Hutch" (2025), a 20-by-24-inch oil on wood, features Slonem's familiar rabbits against an intense blue background. Other notable works include "Red Sea Migration III" (2026), "Silver Ascension Travel Tomorrow" (2022), "White Ascension (August Moon)" (2026), "Blue Rhapsody Diamond Dust" (2023), "Totem Fluffle" (2026), and the sculpture "Rafflesia" (2023).
Curated by McCulloh, the exhibition also includes a Bunny Salon, a section dedicated to Slonem's iconic bunnies, which captivated guests during the VIP gathering that marked the exhibition's opening. She noted that the exhibition's color, texture, and repetition draw viewers in, while each piece reveals something different.
One Art Space, an independent contemporary gallery in the heart of Tribeca, has been championing women artists through its annual Women's History Month exhibitions. Founded in May 2011, the gallery blends art and curatorial skill with business expertise. Located at 23 Warren Street, the gallery's distinctive ground-floor space features a glass façade that creates an open, dynamic setting for both artists and their work.
