World Smile Day, celebrated on the first Friday of October, marks a special occasion for Lake Park Dental. The practice, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is using the day to remind the community that regular dental care is accessible to everyone, regardless of insurance status.
Founded in 1999 by Harvey Ball, the creator of the iconic yellow smiley face, World Smile Day aims to spread joy and promote kindness. For patients without dental insurance, Lake Park Dental offers a Wellness Plan that includes cleanings, exams, and X-rays. The plan is designed to ensure that cost is not a barrier to maintaining good oral health.
The Wellness Plan is available in two versions: the Child Complete plan, which is tailored for patients 13 and under, and the Adult Complete plan, suitable for patients 14 and older. The Child Complete plan costs $300 a year or $25 a month, while the Adult Complete plan is priced at $420 a year or $35 a month. Both plans include two professional cleanings, two exams, routine X-rays, and one emergency exam. The Adult Complete plan also includes oral cancer screenings.
For patients who require more frequent gum care, Lake Park Dental offers the Periodontal Care plan, priced at $600 a year or $50 a month. This plan includes four cleanings and is specifically designed for those with more complex dental needs.
In addition to the basic services, every plan offers a 15% discount on procedures done at Lake Park Dental, including fillings, cosmetic work, implants, and Invisalign. Benefits start the day a patient joins the Wellness Plan and run for 12 months, with no deductibles, annual maximums, or waiting periods.
