This move is part of Zensar’s broader strategy to strengthen its growing footprint across Africa.
For Konkola Copper Mines, the partnership marks an important step in its larger goal of unlocking key operations such as the Konkola Deep Mining Project (KDMP) in Chililabombwe and increasing production to 300,000 tonnes of copper per year by 2030. With an investment pledge of over $1.2 billion by Vedanta Resources Limited, KCM is poised for significant growth.
"This partnership is a testament to Zensar's commitment to driving innovation and sustainable impact in the African mining sector," said Chatterjee. "We are excited to contribute to KCM's digital transformation and support the company in achieving its long-term strategic objectives."
