MACON, Ga., Oct. 12, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- KaMin and CADAM, global leaders in innovative mineral solutions, announced a price increase of up to 9.5% on their kaolin products, effective December 1, 2026. The companies cited broad inflationary pressures across mining, purchased raw materials, and labor as the primary drivers behind the adjustment.

KaMin and CADAM highlighted significant increases in energy costs as a major factor. Disruptions in key maritime routes, extended shipping times, higher fuel prices, and increased insurance premiums also contributed to rising freight-related costs, impacting final delivered costs. Despite ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and control costs, the companies noted that inflationary market pressures continue to exceed these savings, necessitating the price adjustment to sustain product quality, supply reliability, and long-term customer support.

The price increase will vary depending on specific grades and regions. Customers will be contacted directly with details of their price adjustments, including any specific logistics or handling costs, which may require additional increases and/or applicable surcharges.

With more than 100 years of experience and approximately 800 employees worldwide, KaMin and CADAM deliver performance mineral solutions for a broad spectrum of end-use markets, including building & construction, automotive, agriculture, health & beauty, packaging, and specialty and graphic paper.
