JETOUR T2 Proves Capabilities in Iceland’s Extreme Terrain

REYKJAVIK, Iceland, Sept. 17, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- JETOUR Auto's T2 vehicle has completed its journey through Iceland’s rugged terrain as part of the Adventure of Extremes Season 2, a series co-created with Discovery. World-renowned explorer Ed Stafford drove the T2 through Iceland’s diverse landscapes, including glaciers, volcanic lava fields, and tundra wetlands, testing the vehicle’s capabilities in extreme conditions.

The Iceland episode of the series, which concluded the second season, showcased the T2’s advanced features designed to handle the challenging terrain. The XWD system, which offers seven driving modes, proved particularly effective. Stafford noted, "What impressed me most about the T2 was its XWD technology. I could simply select the appropriate mode and continue driving without having to make complex adjustments."

The T2’s high-rigidity body, strong approach and departure angles, and specially tuned suspension allowed it to navigate rocky surfaces and uneven gullies with ease. Its ability to maintain stability on icy surfaces was also highlighted, with the XWD system automatically selecting the appropriate mode via the "X" button. This feature adjusted power delivery and traction control to help maintain stability on low-grip surfaces.

Adventure of Extremes Season 2 followed Stafford across extreme environments on three continents, including Ecuador’s volcanic highlands, Colombia’s rainforests and coastlines, Morocco’s Sahara Desert, and Iceland’s glacial wilderness. Through real-world testing and demanding challenges, the series demonstrated the G700 and T2’s off-road capabilities while highlighting JETOUR’s spirit of exploration.
