Jeff Cave Joins OneAscent as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Jeff Cave, a seasoned wealth management professional, has joined OneAscent as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, marking a significant step in the firm's growth and commitment to values-aligned financial solutions.

Cave, who brings over two decades of experience in the wealth and asset management industry, will work closely with financial advisors and firms to help them navigate their future growth and impact. His new role involves evaluating businesses, identifying opportunities for growth, and exploring how OneAscent’s platform can support their next stage of development.

“Over the past 25 years, I’ve helped advisors build stronger businesses and better serve their clients,” Cave said. “The wealth management industry is rapidly changing, and advisors now have more choices than ever. My goal is to help them step back, evaluate their current situation, and intentionally design their preferred future.”

Cave’s approach begins with a thorough understanding of each advisor’s business and priorities. He evaluates where the practice is today, what matters most to the advisor, and where they want to go next. This discovery is the foundation for designing their "Preferred Future," and Cave then helps advisors and firms see how OneAscent’s platform, guidance, and values-aligned investment solutions can support their growth and long-term impact.

Previously, Cave served in various roles at Eventide Asset Management, helping the firm grow its distribution and assets. Prior to Eventide, he spent over 20 years at Merrill Lynch, where he held several key positions, including Director of Ultra High Net Worth Wealth Management Specialist for the Private Banking & Investment Group in New York City. He also played a significant role in the Christian Focus Group at Merrill Lynch, a nationwide network of over 1,600 advisors who integrate Christian principles of finance with their clients.

Cave holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certification and is a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®). He is a member of the Board of Directors for Kingdom Advisors, an organization founded by Ron Blue and Larry Burkett. He also served on the Board of Managers for the Ron Blue Institute for Financial Planning.
