PALM BEACH, Fla., Oct. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- ECS Jets, a private jet charter company based in Palm Beach, Florida, has taken a significant step in expanding its fleet with the addition of a new Cirrus Vision Jet G3. The aircraft, registered as N777EX, marks the company’s first ownership of a private jet, signaling a new era in its 22-year history.

CEO Jason Johnson recently earned his Vision Jet type rating, enabling him to operate the aircraft with confidence. Johnson, who has been a pilot for many years, flying the Cirrus SR22, sees this as a natural progression in his career.

To support the new aircraft, ECS Jets has also hired Captain Walter Ryan as a full-time captain. Ryan, who will fly the Vision Jet G3, expressed his excitement about the opportunity.

For now, the Vision Jet G3 will be used for company purposes only. ECS Jets plans to use the aircraft to meet clients face to face and be on the ramp for departures. The company aims to add the aircraft to a Part 135 certificate, which would allow it to offer charter services. Until then, the aircraft will support the team's operations and provide a unique way to bring value to clients.

ECS Jets' goal is to use the Vision Jet G3 to support recovery when a partner operator's aircraft is AOG (grounded for maintenance), cover short hops, and provide support for the partner operators it already works with.

The Cirrus Vision Jet G3, according to Cirrus, boasts a 1,275 nm maximum range, a max cruise speed of 317 KTAS, and room for seven passengers. It is equipped with a whole-airframe parachute system as standard, along with Safe Return Emergency Autoland. These features make it a highly advanced and safe aircraft, suitable for private and corporate use.

ECS Jets, founded in 1999, has been a trusted name in the private jet charter industry. With the addition of the Vision Jet G3, the company is poised to offer its clients a new level of service and flexibility. As Johnson and Ryan continue to work with the aircraft, ECS Jets is set to enhance its offerings and strengthen its position in the market.
