CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Sept. 04, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Intellia Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company at the forefront of gene editing technology, has announced the issuance of inducement grants to 41 new employees. These grants, awarded on September 1, 2026, under the company’s 2024 Inducement Plan, are intended to attract and retain key talent.

The inducement grants consist of 163,100 time-based restricted stock units (RSUs) of Intellia’s common stock, with one-third of these RSUs vesting annually over a three-year period. The vesting of these shares is contingent upon the employees’ continued service to Intellia through the applicable vesting dates.

According to Intellia’s 2024 Inducement Plan, as amended, these awards were granted outside of the company’s stockholder-approved equity incentive plans. The board of directors adopted the 2024 Inducement Plan in June 2024, and the compensation committee approved these inducement grants to align with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4).

Intellia’s mission is to develop and commercialize potentially curative treatments, leveraging its expertise in CRISPR gene editing. The company’s latest move to offer inducement grants underscores its commitment to fostering a highly skilled workforce to drive innovation and progress in the field of gene therapy.

The inducement grants are part of Intellia’s broader efforts to enhance its workforce and ensure it has the talent necessary to develop transformative therapies for severe diseases. By offering these grants, the company aims to support the long-term success of its employees and its ongoing research and development initiatives.
