On October 19, 2026, Imagene AI and Mindpeak GmbH announced a significant collaboration aimed at integrating AI-powered non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) biomarker profiling into digital pathology workflows. This integration will bring Imagene AI’s Lung Prediction Panel onto Mindpeak’s peakDeploy platform, expanding the capabilities available through Mindpeak’s infrastructure.

Imagene AI, a developer of AI-powered pathology assays for precision oncology, has designed its Lung Prediction Panel to predict genomic alterations, including mutations and fusions in EGFR, KRAS, BRAF, HER2, MET, ALK, ROS1, and RET. The panel is also being expanded to include classifiers for PD-L1 expression and HER2 overexpression. Built on Imagene AI’s proprietary foundation models and computational pathology platform, the panel supports biomarker-driven oncology workflows from standard pathology images.

Mindpeak GmbH, a global provider of AI-powered digital pathology solutions, has dedicated years of expertise to developing peakDeploy, the infrastructure that embeds tissue AI directly into laboratory workflows. Through the collaboration, Imagene AI and Mindpeak aim to make H&E-based NSCLC biomarker profiling available within existing laboratory and digital pathology environments, supporting clinical trial screening, precision diagnostics, and biomarker-driven oncology programs.

This integration reflects the companies’ shared commitment to enabling practical deployment of AI-powered pathology tools in biomarker-driven oncology workflows. The companies will be available at the upcoming ESMO Congress to discuss how the integration can support broader deployment of AI-powered NSCLC biomarker profiling in digital pathology workflows.

Imagene AI’s Lung Prediction Panel is for Research Use Only (RUO) and not for use in diagnostic procedures. The panel is designed to support biomarker-driven oncology workflows from standard pathology images, providing valuable insights for precision diagnostics and clinical trials. The integration will allow laboratories and pathology networks worldwide to adopt AI-powered biomarker profiling in a streamlined manner, enhancing their ability to handle routine H&E images and extract actionable insights.

Both companies have a history of innovation in their respective fields. Imagene AI, founded in 2018, has been at the forefront of developing AI-powered pathology assays for precision oncology. Mindpeak GmbH, also founded in 2018, has been dedicated to creating AI solutions for digital pathology, enabling laboratories to extract actionable insights from tissue images. The collaboration between these two companies is expected to significantly enhance the capabilities of digital pathology workflows, making advanced biomarker profiling more accessible to a broader range of laboratories.

The integration of Imagene AI’s Lung Prediction Panel into peakDeploy will support a more streamlined path for laboratories and pathology networks worldwide to adopt AI-powered biomarker profiling in NSCLC. This will not only improve the accuracy and efficiency of diagnostic procedures but also facilitate the translation of novel biomarkers into real-world clinical applications. The companies are committed to advancing the field of precision oncology by leveraging the power of AI in digital pathology workflows.
