LAS VEGAS, Sept. 4, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Hyperscale Data, Inc. (NYSE American: GPUS), an artificial intelligence data center company, has announced significant financial holdings as of September 3, 2026. According to the company, it currently holds approximately $36 million in cash and restricted cash, along with approximately 215 Bitcoin, valued at around $18 million at the current Bitcoin price of about $81,500. Together, these assets total approximately $53 million, which is nearly twice the company’s recent equity market capitalization.
Milton "Todd" Ault III, Executive Chairman of Hyperscale Data, elaborated on the company’s capital-allocation strategy. "Our holdings of approximately $36 million in cash and restricted cash, and about 215 Bitcoin, demonstrate a substantial asset base. This decision to sell a portion of our Bitcoin and reinvest in the Michigan AI data center reflects a strategic approach to meet our obligations under the master services agreement," said Ault.
The master services agreement (MSA) with a California-based neocloud provider is a key part of this strategy. The MSA calls for the deployment of 20 megawatts of data center capacity over a 10-year term, with two five-year extension options. If both extensions are exercised, the agreement could generate over $1.2 billion in revenue over a 20-year period.
Ault emphasized, "This move is aimed at creating long-term value for the company and its shareholders. Despite the current market valuation, our assets significantly exceed the recent market capitalization. We believe the market is not currently reflecting the true value of our holdings."
The company notes that the market value of Bitcoin and its market capitalization fluctuate continuously. Restricted cash is subject to specific usage restrictions, and the comparison of assets to market capitalization does not reflect liabilities or certain cash balance restrictions.
Hyperscale Data’s next significant milestone is the expected divestiture of Ault Capital Group, Inc. (ACG), scheduled for 2027. Upon this divestiture, the company will focus on data center operations and digital assets. ACG, through its subsidiaries and strategic investments, supports various industries, including AI software, equipment rental, defense, and hospitality.
