Hop-on, Inc., through its subsidiary Digitalage, Inc., has completed the redesign of its iOS user experience (UX) interface, marking a significant step in the company’s pursuit of enhanced user adoption and revenue activation. The redesign, which was led by longtime Digitalage team member Neeraj Baipureddy since August 11, 2026, aims to simplify key user actions such as content discovery, broadcasting, and replay.

Baipureddy, now named Lead Product Engineer and Head of iOS Design, has overseen the end-to-end product design and UI/UX, translating these designs into functional user experiences. His responsibilities span a wide range of engineering tasks, including mobile engineering, API and backend integrations, content moderation, live-streaming workflows, and monetization features. The redesign includes several key enhancements, such as a clearer transition from stream cards to stream details pages, improved live creation and viewing workflows, and a streamlined pass purchase experience for accessing paid content.

The redesigned iOS interface is currently in internal testing through Apple TestFlight, with a general-availability date yet to be announced. Peter Michaels, Sr., Founder, Chairman & CEO of Hop-on, Inc., emphasized the importance of the redesign, stating, "We built the infrastructure. This design work is intended to make it easier to find and broadcast content and return to a replay. Digitalage wants those actions to be easily repeatable."

The redesigned experience includes three key elements: Live Discovery, which organizes live programming through featured broadcasts and a ranked Top 10; Live Becomes Replay, which retains connections between creators and their content; and Access Made Clear, which labels free, pass, and subscriber-only content before playback. These features are intended to simplify discovery and content access, supporting Hop-on’s broader objectives of improving user acquisition, monthly active user (MAU) growth, and conversion to paid participation.

The Genesis model, previously disclosed by Hop-on, Inc., provides 85% of gross subscription revenue to creators, a 15% Platform Infrastructure Fee, and 50% of net advertising revenue generated by participants' content to Genesis creators, subject to program terms. This model supports the company’s commitment to creator monetization and aligns with the broader goals of the redesign.

According to market research, the creator economy is projected to grow significantly, reaching $252.3 billion in 2025 and rising to $310.4 billion in 2026, with a projected 23.3% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for 2026-2033. Additionally, the global video streaming market is expected to expand, reaching $191.1 billion in 2026 and growing to $416.8 billion by 2030. These figures underscore the importance of Digitalage’s efforts in the evolving media landscape.

In terms of consumer spending, Sensor Tower’s State of Mobile 2026 reports $167 billion in consumer spending on in-app purchases and paid apps and games across iOS and Google Play in 2025, up 10.6% year over year. These trends highlight the potential for Digitalage’s redesigned iOS experience to tap into a growing market.

As the company continues to refine its product, Hop-on, Inc. remains focused on its objectives of improving user acquisition, supporting MAU growth, and increasing conversion to paid participation. The redesign is part of a broader strategy to strengthen retention and increase revenue activation, with the ultimate goal of fostering a network effect that could attract returning audiences and encourage further creator participation.
