LAKEWOOD, Calif., Sept. 28, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Home Run Financing (HRF) has expanded its Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing program to the cities of Artesia, Burbank, and Lakewood, bringing the total number of jurisdictions in California offering this innovative financing option to more than 360. These cities join 39 others in Los Angeles County, including Hawthorne, Calabasas, and Lawndale, which approved the program last fall.

The PACE program allows homeowners in these cities to finance a variety of home improvement projects, including roofing, HVAC, renewable energy, EV charging, earthquake resiliency, and water-saving measures. The program is designed to help residents reduce utility bills, enhance the sustainability and energy efficiency of their homes, and prepare for extreme weather conditions.

HRF has partnered with local utilities, such as Burbank Water and Power, to bring PACE to the area. The program is recognized for its strong consumer protections, including payment to contractors only upon project completion and confirmation of homeowner satisfaction. PACE financing is available only through registered and trained contractors, and the program operates under the regulatory oversight of the California Department of Financial Protection & Innovation (DFPI).

The PACE program has proven to be effective in empowering homeowners and strengthening communities. In the past decade, HRF has provided over $694 million in PACE financing for nearly 22,100 home improvement projects across California. These upgrades have generated significant environmental benefits, including 297,700 metric tons of lifetime greenhouse gas reductions, equivalent to removing 69,440 cars from the road for a year or powering almost 40,000 homes for a year. Additionally, 355 million gallons of water have been saved, enough to fill more than 119,700 backyard pools or avoid 28.4 million five-minute showers.

HRF has also focused on serving the Hispanic/Latino community, which comprises a significant portion of the population in Artesia, Burbank, and Lakewood. Approximately 30 percent of Artesia residents, 25 percent of Burbank residents, and 40 percent of Lakewood residents identify as Hispanic/Latino. HRF ensures that all materials are available in Spanish, from the website and homeowner contracts to contractor guidance materials. The company has bilingual staff who work closely with contractors and its customer service call center is staffed with bilingual employees.

The program supports a network of over 2,000 contractors and has created more than 6,200 sustainable jobs across California. Homeowners in Artesia, Burbank, and Lakewood now have access to this innovative financing option, enabling them to make essential upgrades to their homes and contribute to a more sustainable future.
