SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, October 23, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Hannaru, a business-to-business sourcing platform for Korean cosmetics, has released detailed ingredient breakdowns for 361 products from 30 Korean beauty brands. This move aims to provide buyers with a clearer understanding of the formulas behind the products, addressing a gap in the current market where buyers often lack comprehensive formula data.
According to Hannaru, four key ingredients are found across a significant portion of the 30 brands. Niacinamide appears in the lines of 16 of the 30 brands, while panthenol is present in 16 as well. Adenosine and sodium hyaluronate each appear in 15 and 13 brands, respectively. Centella asiatica extract and allantoin each appear in seven brands, and ceramide NP is found in five. These findings highlight the commonalities in the formulas used by different Korean beauty brands.
The ingredient breakdowns are derived from 352 full INCI lists, ensuring that the data is accurate and not influenced by marketing copy. This approach allows buyers to compare the actual ingredients in the products side by side, making informed decisions before placing orders.
The analysis also reveals that category weight is a more significant differentiator among the 30 brands. Anti-aging products are the most common, accounting for 97 tags, followed by moisturizers at 86, ampoules at 53, and essences at 36. Cleansing products account for 34 tags, masks 25, toners 23, and sun care products 16. A brand that has built most of its range around ampoules is a different sourcing decision from one weighted to cleansing, even where the ingredient lists overlap.
Size bands are also a crucial factor for buyers. A line built on units under 100 millilitres ships and prices differently from one built on larger formats, and the difference shows up in freight before it shows up anywhere else. Hannaru lists more than 228 verified Korean brands and 589 products, with detailed profiles available on its website at https://hannaru.com/products.
