GridHint Launches Free Solvers for Letter Boxed, Word Hunt, Boggle

GridHint, an independent website, has introduced free solvers for popular word games: Letter Boxed, Word Hunt, and Boggle. These tools are designed to help players find solutions to puzzles by tracing word paths and chains through letter grids.

The Letter Boxed solver accepts twelve letters arranged on four sides and searches for connected word chains that use the supplied letters. It prioritizes two-word solutions but can show longer chains when needed. To use the solver, players enter the letters in the order provided on the puzzle. Each entry is one letter. The second word must start with the last letter of the first word, and consecutive letters cannot be picked from the same side of the box. The solver first searches for two-word chains, then shows three or more words if no two-word answer covers all the letters.

The Word Hunt solver and the Boggle solver both accept 4-by-4 and 5-by-5 letter grids and show routes through adjacent tiles, including diagonals. These solvers use GridHint's independent dictionary, which may differ from official game word lists. For Word Hunt, players enter the grid row by row. Each tile can be used once in a word, and words can move to adjacent tiles, including diagonals. The letter Q is treated as Qu and counts as one tile. Tapping a result traces the word's route on the grid. Results are listed longest first, with up to 2,000 results shown.

GridHint's live homepage describes its tools as free, without ads or sign-up. The solvers are independent helpers and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the publishers of the games they help users play. Users can explore GridHint and the Letter Boxed tool at GridHint.

These solvers are part of GridHint's mission to offer word finders, puzzle solvers, hints, and word lists for everyday word games. The tools are designed to help people explore letter patterns and possible solutions.
