Gold Runner Exploration Inc. (CSE: GRUN) (FSE: CE70) has announced promising new assay results from its 2026 exploration program on the Golden Girl property in the Golden Triangle, British Columbia. The company collected 36 new samples during this program, with 10 of them assaying over 10 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold equivalent (AuEq). The highest-grade sample assayed up to 79.85 g/t Au, making it a significant discovery for the company.

The exploration program, designed to generate drill targets for the planned 2027 inaugural drill program, has already yielded substantial results. A total of 47 samples collected in 2026 assayed over 1 g/t AuEq, with 17 of those assaying over 10 g/t AuEq. The company highlighted the Gold Stack Trend, where samples assayed up to 30.28 g/t AuEq, and the highest-grade sample from this trend returned grades up to 396.66 g/t AuEq (11.22 g/t Au, 25,306 g/t Ag, 2.96% Cu, 8.19% Pb, and 5.89% Zn).

The Gold Stack Trend forms a broad mineralized corridor up to 50 meters wide, with a confirmed exposed strike length of 475 meters, an increase from the previously reported 350 meters. This trend remains open for expansion, indicating significant untapped discovery potential. The mineralization on the Gold Stack Trend is characterized by significant concentrations of galena, sphalerite, and tetrahedrite, with lesser chalcopyrite and pyrite found predominantly in veins and veinlets within the altered shear zone.

The company also discovered the Steep showing, located 1.5 kilometers to the east of the Gold Stack Trend. This showing consists of multiple densely stacked polymetallic quartz veins up to 50 centimeters wide, with a strike of approximately 100 meters. The highest-grade sample collected from the Steep showing assayed 36.40 g/t Au. The zone remains open for further expansion, suggesting ongoing potential for high-grade mineralization.

In addition to these trends, the company identified multiple other high-grade discoveries, including a new showing discovered 1.7 kilometers southeast of the Steep showing, which assayed up to 79.85 g/t Au. The company noted that 22 sample assays have been reported as Au only, with multi-element analyses pending, indicating a comprehensive approach to understanding the full potential of the property.

Gold Equivalent (AuEq) metal values are calculated using the following prices: Au at 4195.60 USD/oz, Ag at 60.95 USD/oz, Cu at 6.71 USD/lb, Pb at 1661.40 USD/ton, and Zn at 3426.60 USD/ton, all as of October 10, 2026. The company emphasized the potential for economic recovery of gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc from these occurrences, based on the mineralization style and the presence of similar high-grade gold mineralization in the region.
