EVANSVILLE, Ind., Oct. 10, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Global Care International, a digital health technology company based in Evansville, Indiana, has entered into a strategic alliance with S.T. Digital, a technology firm in Douala, Cameroon. The partnership aims to address the growing demand for digital health solutions in Africa, focusing on both public and private health sectors.

Global Care International, known for its "Patented" Digital Health offerings, has expanded its global market with a particular emphasis on Africa. This system is designed to work with any existing digital health technologies, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR), and is agnostic to future standards.

The partnership with S.T. Digital brings a range of critical services to the table. S.T. Digital will provide infrastructure in the form of state-of-the-art Tier III certified data centers and ICT services. Additionally, the company will offer deployment services, training for end users, and business development/marketing support. This collaboration is part of both organizations' commitment to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aim to eradicate poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all by 2030.

As of 2026, 85 nations are working towards this initiative. However, the strategy faces challenges due to the voluntary nature of the FHIR standard, which is essential for exchanging health information across the healthcare landscape. Global Care International's system, on the other hand, is designed to work with any existing digital health technologies, making it a more flexible and adaptable solution.

The partnership's initial focus is on Cameroon, but S.T. Digital has a local presence in seven other nations. The companies plan to expand their efforts in these regions, leveraging their combined expertise to support the digital transformation of health in Africa. Global Care International has a long history of deploying digital solutions on the continent, starting in Nigeria in 2012.

The companies are currently in negotiations for the adoption of this technology with two multi-location faith-based health organizations. This move is expected to further enhance the reach and impact of the partnership, ensuring that every person has equitable access to quality healthcare, regardless of their location.

This strategic alliance marks a significant step towards improving healthcare delivery in Africa, aligning with the broader goals of digital health and sustainable development.
