CHICAGO, Sept. 28, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Gigawatt, an AI-native software suite provider for regulated utilities, has launched a Utility Supplier Network in partnership with Trust Your Supplier (TYS). This new initiative aims to streamline the supplier onboarding and qualification process for utilities, reducing the administrative burden on both suppliers and utilities.
The Utility Supplier Network enables utility procurement teams to maintain a centralized, governed source of truth for supplier information. Suppliers can submit their company records, certifications, insurance documents, and cybersecurity information once, and this information is shared across participating utility relationships. Each utility retains control over relationship-specific requirements, reviews, and decisions, ensuring a tailored approach to supplier management.

The network supports onboarding, qualification, and revalidation of suppliers, continuously monitors supplier risk, and keeps approvals, exceptions, and material changes fully traceable. This provides utilities with the audit-ready supplier records necessary to comply with NERC CIP-013 supply chain risk management requirements.

The Utility Supplier Network is designed for material and equipment suppliers, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and service providers, and data and technology partners that support utility operations, capital programs, and modernization. Gigawatt's Utility Data Fabric integrates the supplier context into various utility operations, including planning, sourcing, contracting, purchasing, delivery, invoicing, and third-party oversight. Existing planning, ERP, EAM, sourcing, and accounts payable systems remain in place, ensuring a seamless integration with the existing infrastructure.
