RPM AutoWorx Expands Services with New Technician

MCKEESPORT, PA, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- RPM AutoWorx, an independently owned auto repair shop located at 2301 Grandview Avenue in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, has expanded its services by adding a GM-certified technician. This move allows the shop to offer engine and transmission repair services, which it had not consistently provided in recent years.
The expansion comes as part of a broader effort to meet the needs of local drivers. According to Justin Barna, the owner of RPM AutoWorx, the addition of the technician will enable the shop to take on more complex repairs.
The expanded services include selected check-engine diagnostics, timing belt and timing chain replacements, transmission diagnostics, and transmission repairs and replacements. These new offerings complement the shop’s existing work, which includes Pennsylvania State safety inspections and emissions testing, brakes, tires, suspension and steering, exhaust repairs, oil changes, fluid services, heating and cooling repairs, electrical repairs, and maintenance for personal and light work vehicles.
RPM AutoWorx also offers a complimentary vehicle health check with every paid service. The check is intended to identify observable safety, maintenance, and reliability concerns while the vehicle is already at the shop. Technicians check for visible or noticeable concerns involving tires, brakes, fluids, lights, suspension, steering, exhaust, wipers, and leaks. Customers are then told what may require immediate attention, what should be planned for later, and what can simply be monitored before their next vehicle service.
The shop’s focus on preventative maintenance is informed by national roadside-assistance figures. AAA reported responding to more than 27 million roadside-service calls in 2024, including approximately 13 million towing events and 7 million battery-related calls. The organization recommends regular inspections and maintenance to help motorists avoid unexpected breakdowns.
Customers can schedule appointments by phone, text, or through an online booking system. RPM AutoWorx also offers appointment reminders and secure after-hours key drop-off for customers who cannot bring their vehicles in during regular business hours.
