PARIS, Oct. 12, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Fraikin, a leading pan-European provider of commercial vehicle leasing and fleet solutions, has announced a significant step in its growth strategy. The company has entered into an exclusive agreement with Asterion Industrial Partners, an independent investment management firm focused on mid-market infrastructure in Europe. This move follows a multi-year transformation that has seen Fraikin generate approximately €1 billion in revenue and operate a fleet with a gross book value of around €3 billion.

Under Asterion's ownership, Fraikin will prioritize continued investment in its fleet and European operating platform, the transition of its customers towards lower-carbon mobility, and the digitalization of its fleet management offerings. Yves Pétin, President and CEO of Fraikin Group, expressed the company's ambition to establish itself as the leading European commercial vehicle fleet management infrastructure platform.

The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to the completion of the necessary employee information and consultation processes and obtaining regulatory approvals. The deal follows a multi-year journey that has significantly improved Fraikin's financial performance and resilience across its European markets.

Asterion Industrial Partners sees a significant opportunity to support the transition of Fraikin's fleet towards lower-emission vehicles, in line with the firm's commitment to the energy transition. Bice Di Gregorio, a Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners, highlighted the importance of the investment.

Sergio Val, an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners, emphasized the strategic importance of the investment for the firm.

The transaction is part of a broader strategy by Asterion Industrial Partners to invest in essential infrastructure across the energy, digital, utilities, and mobility sectors. Founded in 2018, the firm manages $10 billion and has a hands-on, industrial approach that prioritizes long-term value creation and sustainability. Asterion Industrial Infra Fund III, which closed in September 2025, reached total commitments of €3.4 billion.

Fraikin, with its extensive fleet of more than 50,000 vehicles across ten European countries, continues to serve essential sectors including healthcare, food distribution, utilities, waste management, logistics, and public services, contributing to better urban living. The company's commitment to sustainability and digital transformation aligns with the broader goals of both Fraikin and Asterion Industrial Partners.
