Finalists Announced for 2026 ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day Awards

CEDAR KNOLLS, N.J., Sept. 23, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) has announced the finalists for the 2026 ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day Awards, recognizing companies and individuals who have made significant contributions to the state’s manufacturing community. The awards, which will be presented during the 14th Annual ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day, aim to highlight excellence in various areas such as innovation, leadership, operational performance, workforce development, and industry impact.

This year, the event will bring together manufacturers, business leaders, educators, students, legislators, and industry partners at iPlay America in Freehold, New Jersey, on October 2, 2026. The record-setting 2025 event welcomed more than 1,100 attendees, and this year’s gathering is expected to be just as successful.

Among the finalists are companies vying for the Manufacturer of the Year award in three categories: Large, Medium, and Small. The Life Sciences Leader Award, Innovator of the Year, and Rising Stars categories will also be honored. The Rising Stars category includes Erica Abrams-Young from Evermark, Karla Baez from Switlick Survival Products, Lindsey Rodriguez from Berje Inc., Maria Guido from Unionwear, Melissa Naylis from Service Support Specialties, Inc. (S-Cubed), and Yana Katliarova from Modern Line Furniture Inc.

NJMEP, which has been helping small to medium-sized manufacturers in New Jersey for 30 years, will use the event to celebrate the achievements of the manufacturing sector. The organization’s mission is to improve the profitability and competitiveness of manufacturers by enhancing productivity and efficiency, reducing costs, and improving employee performance. NJMEP is backed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and uses its extensive network to help manufacturers adapt to the latest innovative technologies and best practices.

The 14th Annual ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day will feature keynote addresses, breakout sessions, interactive exhibits, and networking opportunities. The event is open to the public, and interested attendees can register at NJMEP.org.
