Haifa, Israel — Elbit Systems, a global leader in intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) solutions, has inked a significant contract worth approximately $270 million with an international customer. The agreement, set to be fulfilled over a period of up to six years, underscores the company’s pivotal role in advancing advanced targeting payloads.

Under the terms of the contract, Elbit Systems will supply its SPECTRO™ family of multi-spectral electro-optic systems, which integrate mid-wave infrared (MWIR), visible, and short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging capabilities. These systems boast advanced laser designation and AI-based analytics, enhancing target identification and long-range intelligence gathering across various platforms, including airborne, naval, and ground applications. The SPECTRO systems are designed to operate effectively in challenging environments, providing day and night visibility even in adverse weather conditions.

Additionally, the contract includes the supply of AMPS™ NG systems, also part of the SPECTRO family, tailored for airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and targeting missions. The AMPS NG systems leverage the same sensor suite but offer advanced imaging channels that can achieve extremely long-range target acquisition, surveillance, and geo-location capabilities. This technology is crucial for strategic ISR and targeting missions in complex operational environments.

Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems, commented, "This contract reaffirms Elbit Systems' position as a global leader in ISR and targeting solutions. Our advanced technologies enable our customers to enhance situational awareness, intelligence gathering, and mission effectiveness in today's complex operational environments."
