BOGOTA, COLOMBIA, Sep 28, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- EDEAL, an emerging financial services company serving individuals and small businesses in Latin America, has surpassed US$3 million in loan originations during the first half of 2026, marking a significant milestone in its expansion strategy. The company, which has been focused on providing digital financial solutions to customers, has now surpassed a crucial financial threshold, demonstrating the growing demand for accessible financial services among individuals and small businesses in Colombia.

During the first six months of 2026, EDEAL disbursed approximately US$1 million in loans to individuals and businesses in Colombia, bringing the company’s cumulative loan originations to approximately US$3 million. This achievement reflects EDEAL’s continued efforts to expand access to financing for customers across Latin America.

To further enhance its financial services offering, EDEAL has entered into a strategic partnership with Sardona Capital S.A., a securities firm regulated and supervised by the Superintendence of the Securities Market of the Republic of Panama. Through this partnership, EDEAL will now offer international investment accounts directly through its EDEAL app, creating a more integrated financial ecosystem for customers.

Under the agreement, eligible customers will have the ability to access international investment-account services through EDEAL’s digital platform, which will complement the company’s existing lending business. Sardona Capital, with its established international investment services infrastructure, will provide investment advisory, asset management, brokerage, and trading services. The firm is regulated and supervised by Panama’s Superintendence of the Securities Market and holds a brokerage license issued under Resolution SMV No. 29 of January 23, 2013.

The addition of international investment services will allow EDEAL to provide customers with a more comprehensive financial experience, enabling them to access both credit and broader financial opportunities. This expansion is particularly relevant as consumers and entrepreneurs across Latin America increasingly seek digital solutions that offer seamless access to both credit and investment services.

The international investment-account offering will be subject to applicable eligibility, regulatory, onboarding, and compliance requirements. EDEAL expects the addition of international investment services to complement its existing lending business while creating opportunities to deepen relationships with its growing customer base.
