BEACON, N.Y., Sept. 28, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- DocuWare, a leading provider of document management and workflow automation solutions, has launched a next-generation platform that aims to transform how businesses handle their documents. The new DocuWare, first previewed at the 2026 DocuWorld Partner Conferences, integrates a redesigned web and mobile experience, a built-in AI assistant, and expanded intelligent document processing capabilities.

The new platform, which is accessible on all devices, from desktops to smartphones, features a user-friendly interface that adheres to the Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA. This ensures that users of any skill level can efficiently manage their documents. A companion mobile app allows users to quickly find and share documents, manage assigned tasks, and receive instant task alerts on the go.

DocuWare Aura, the built-in AI assistant, is a significant enhancement. Available to all DocuWare Cloud customers, Aura provides direct access to document repositories, enabling users to ask, summarize, and compare documents to support informed business decisions. Unlike general-purpose AI chatbots, Aura accesses the organization's document repositories, respects existing permissions, and reasons over the actual business documents stored within DocuWare.

DocuWare IDP, the AI-powered solution for capturing, classifying, and extracting data from documents, has also been expanded. The new Gen AI-based Zero Shot Extraction allows the system to extract data from document types it has not encountered before, without requiring prior training. DocuWare IDP now supports OCR in 20 languages, making it easier to automate document capture in local business languages. Additionally, Master Data Matching compares extracted document data against master data from other systems, such as ERPs, to produce usable business records.

DocuWare Corporation, with its 800+ strong partner network, has helped approximately 20,000 customers across 100+ countries simplify their work through digitizing, automating, and transforming key processes. The company's corporate headquarters are in Germering, Germany, with offices in New York, Saarbrücken, Germany, Paris, France, Barcelona, Spain, Sofia, Bulgaria, and Birmingham, UK.
