SINGAPORE, Oct. 09, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- CytoMed Therapeutics Limited, a Singapore-based clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, has received a notification from the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications department regarding a minimum bid price deficiency. The company, which was spun off from the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A\*STAR) in 2018, announced on October 6, 2026, that its ordinary shares had been trading below the US$1.00 per share requirement set forth in Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) for the last 30 consecutive business days.
According to the notification, CytoMed has been given 180 calendar days, or until April 5, 2027, to regain compliance under the Nasdaq Listing Rules. If the company's ordinary shares close at or above US$1.00 per share for at least ten consecutive business days during this period, Nasdaq will provide written confirmation of compliance, and the matter will be closed. In the event that CytoMed does not regain compliance by April 5, 2027, it may be eligible for an additional 180-day compliance period, provided it meets the continued listing requirement for market value of publicly held shares and all other initial listing standards for The Nasdaq Capital Market, with the exception of the minimum bid price requirement.
CytoMed intends to take all reasonable measures to regain compliance within the prescribed grace period. The company's focus remains on developing novel cell-based allogeneic immunotherapies using its proprietary technologies, including gamma delta T cell and iPSC-derived gamma delta Natural Killer T cell, for the treatment of various human cancers. CytoMed's forward-looking statements, as defined by the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, include plans to develop and commercialize its product candidates, the initiation and progress of clinical trials, and the company's estimates regarding expenses, future revenue, and capital requirements.
The Nasdaq notification letter does not affect CytoMed's business operations. The company will continue to pursue its mission of creating innovative immunotherapies while addressing the challenges posed by the minimum bid price deficiency.
