CurTec USA Expands Operations in South Carolina

WESTMINSTER, S.C., Oct. 13, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- CurTec USA is investing $10 million to expand its operations in Westminster, South Carolina, a move that will significantly boost the company's local production and supply capabilities for North American customers. The expansion, set to add approximately 27,300 square feet and more than 2,000 pallet positions, is part of a broader strategy to enhance local production and inventory reliability.
According to Bart van Berkel, CEO of CurTec, the company's goal when opening the Westminster facility in 2023 was to get closer to its North American customers and create a platform for growth.
The expansion will include the addition of a new blow molding line, which will significantly increase capacity and extend local production to smaller packaging sizes. CurTec plans to produce 6- and 10-liter Click Pack pails in Westminster before the end of the year, followed by smaller Wide Neck Drums in 2027.
Martin Lamar, Site Director USA, emphasized the strategic importance of the expansion.
The expansion is part of CurTec's broader strategy to support life sciences and fine chemicals companies with high-performance packaging for the safe handling and containment of critical materials. The company's GMP-certified production facilities in Westminster, South Carolina, and Rijen, the Netherlands, are key to its global operations.
The expansion reflects CurTec's confidence in the local workforce and business climate, and the company is expected to create 10 new jobs as part of the project.
Groundbreaking for the expansion is planned for October 2026, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2027. CurTec USA is located at 365 Oconee Business Parkway, Westminster, S.C.
