Copper One Identifies Native Copper in Redonda Drilling

Copper One Resources Corp., a Canadian mining company, announced the identification of native copper in ongoing drilling at its 100%-owned Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project in British Columbia. The news comes as part of a 2,400-meter diamond drilling program that has so far tested the area beyond 270 meters.
The Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project, located on West Redonda Island in British Columbia’s Vancouver Mining Division, is part of the Coast Suture Zone, known for its potential to host significant porphyry copper and skarn mineralization. The current drilling, which is being conducted by Paradigm Drilling Ltd., aims to explore the extent of the known mineralized system and test priority targets identified through integrated geological and geophysical interpretation.
In drill hole RED-26-02, native copper was visually identified at approximately 40 meters downhole. While this observation is preliminary, it represents a significant finding within the broader interval where geological features consistent with the targeted porphyry copper-molybdenum system have been observed. The hole, drilled at a -55-degree inclination, has advanced beyond 270 meters, targeting a total depth of approximately 500 meters.
David Greenway, President and CEO of Copper One, expressed encouragement over the geological features and visual mineralization encountered in RED-26-02, including the identification of native copper. "These observations occur within a broader interval where geological features consistent with the targeted porphyry copper-molybdenum system have been observed," Greenway stated.
The company is currently focusing on evaluating the extent of the known mineralized system and testing priority targets. Additional drill sites are planned, and the current campaign is informed by the technical report on the Redonda Property prepared by W.B. Lennan, P.Geo., and filed under the Company’s SEDAR+ profile in March 2026.

The Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project hosts a district-scale porphyry copper-molybdenum exploration system, comprising nine mineral claims covering approximately 2,746 hectares (6,786 acres). Historical exploration by Teck Resources Ltd. in 1979 included nine NQ diamond drill holes totaling 1,681 meters (5,515 feet), which have provided valuable data for the current exploration program.
