CoolVu Partners with Homes For Our Troops to Outfit 25 Homes

CoolVu, a leading provider of innovative glass and surface solutions, has partnered with Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) to outfit 25 homes for veterans in 2027. This partnership aims to enhance the comfort and safety of the homes by installing solar window film, which reduces solar heat and glare, blocks harmful ultraviolet rays, and helps keep the inside of the home cooler.

CoolVu's commitment to veteran support is deeply rooted in its business model. The company waives the $19,900 initial franchise fee for qualified veterans who wish to join the system, allowing them to become business owners and contribute to their communities. Today, 29 CoolVu locations are owned by veterans, who bring a service mindset to their customers, teams, and communities every day.

HFOT, a publicly funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 veterans. These homes restore some of the freedom and independence that veterans have sacrificed while defending their country. Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents of every dollar spent by HFOT has gone directly to programs supporting veterans. The organization has built more than 444 specially adapted custom homes nationwide, with 67 active projects and more than 1,800 additional veterans who may qualify for homes.
