Columbus, Ohio to host BCMC & Framer Summit 2026

Columbus, Ohio, will host the premier event for the structural building components industry from September 14 to 18, 2026, as the Building Component Manufacturers Conference (BCMC) and Framer Summit 2026 takes center stage. The event, organized by the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA), is expected to attract over 115 exhibitors and thousands of industry professionals.
This five-day gathering is designed to offer attendees a comprehensive experience, combining education, business insights, and networking opportunities. Molly Butz, SBCA’s Managing Director, emphasized the event’s value, stating, "BCMC provides a unique platform for attendees to connect, learn, and grow in one place. Whether you’re seeking market insights, exploring new technologies, or building relationships, BCMC delivers a rich array of opportunities."
Over the course of the conference, participants will have access to more than 20 hours of industry-focused education sessions. These sessions will cover critical topics such as market trends, quality control, and innovative technologies. Additionally, attendees can look forward to an economic forecast presentation by Todd Tomalak of Zonda, offering a comprehensive view of the housing and construction market. A keynote address by Jesse Itzler, a renowned entrepreneur and author, will also provide inspiring insights.
To further enhance the educational experience, SBCA is hosting a free Quality Bootcamp on Thursday, September 17. This program will delve into quality control and assurance practices, ANSI/TPI 1 requirements, and model building codes, providing participants with practical knowledge they can implement in their operations. Quality Bootcamp attendees will also receive complimentary access to the show floor for the afternoon, allowing them to explore the latest products and solutions.
Innovation will be a key theme at BCMC 2026. The 2026 SBCA Innovation Grant recipients, including Cadynce, Crowdbuild™, Shelfmark, and Stiles Machinery, will showcase their cutting-edge solutions. These innovations represent advancements in technology, automation, estimating, workflow, and production within the structural building components industry.
Beyond the formal programming, BCMC 2026 will offer numerous networking opportunities. Attendees can engage with industry leaders, component manufacturers, and suppliers in face-to-face interactions on the show floor, during education sessions, and through various networking events. These connections are expected to foster collaboration and drive industry growth well beyond the conference.
