China's CIFIT Brings Together 129 Countries for Global Investment Opportunities

The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) concluded in Xiamen, Fujian, China, from September 8 to 11, 2026. This year’s event attracted over 1,200 registered delegations from 129 countries and regions, along with 30 international organizations. Forty-eight of the world’s top 50 economies by GDP participated, and the total number of business participants exceeded 100,000.

The conference, themed “Global Investment in a Changing World,” focused on in-depth exchanges in frontier areas such as artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, life sciences and healthcare, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing. Delegates discussed the changes in the global investment landscape, supply chain restructuring, and green transition trends, seeking direction and identifying opportunities in a rapidly evolving world.

Finland and Saudi Arabia were named as Guest Countries of Honor, while Guangdong and Qinghai served as Guest Provinces of Honor. The event aimed to foster international cooperation and investment opportunities, bringing together a diverse array of stakeholders from various industries.

The conference highlighted the convergence of future-oriented industrial directions, including artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and green and low-carbon technologies. Innovative resources and new capital were connected, creating a platform for new technologies to find application scenarios, new projects to secure funding, and new industries to emerge.
