Charlotte, N.C. firm acquires Ohio-based SenSource

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 3, 2026, Component Sourcing International (CSI), a global leader in engineered component supply and supply chain management, has completed the acquisition of SenSource Global Sourcing, LLC, an international sourcing company based in Milford, Ohio. The move aims to strengthen CSI’s global presence and expand its manufacturing expertise.

The acquisition integrates SenSource’s established in-country teams in China, Taiwan, and India with CSI’s existing global sourcing platform. SenSource brings specialized expertise in gears, machined shafts, and multi-process castings, enhancing CSI’s capabilities in these areas. This strategic move aligns with CSI’s growth objectives and offers customers a broader range of sourcing, engineering, and supply chain solutions.

This local presence significantly expands CSI’s on-the-ground footprint in critical regions, accelerating the company’s strategic growth.

For SenSource customers, joining CSI means access to a larger global sourcing organization and expanded manufacturing capabilities. The transition ensures that existing relationships and day-to-day operations remain a priority, with a phased approach to integrating the two organizations.
