WEST ORANGE, N.J., Sept. 04, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Bel Fuse Inc., a global manufacturer of electronic components, systems, and solutions, has announced the appointment of Richard E. Hamilton as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, effective September 28, 2026. Hamilton will lead the company's legal function and serve as a strategic advisor to Bel's executive leadership team and Board of Directors.
In his new role, Hamilton will oversee corporate governance and Board matters, and support various legal functions including public-company reporting, regulatory compliance, commercial activities, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and employment and labor matters. He will also contribute to the company's global expansion and support its customers in aerospace, defense, industrial, and data infrastructure markets.

With over 25 years of legal experience, Hamilton joins Bel from Stryker Corporation, a Fortune 200 medical device company, where he served as Deputy General Counsel. His roles included Chief Legal Counsel for International and Department Operations and Chief Legal Counsel for Asia Pacific. Hamilton's experience spans mergers and acquisitions, commercial negotiations, corporate securities, compliance, litigation, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and employment and labor matters.
Before Stryker, Hamilton was a partner at Stern & Kilcullen, advising corporate clients on investigations and compliance matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, SEC laws, and the federal Anti-Kickback Law. Earlier in his career, he practiced at Riker Danzig and served as a legislative and litigation associate.
