OKLAHOMA CITY, Sept. 3, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Bank7 Corp. has emerged victorious in an auction to acquire a controlling stake in Century Financial Services Corporation, a Santa Fe, New Mexico-based bank holding company. The deal, valued at approximately $91 million, including a break-up fee of about $2 million, will net Bank7 Corp. a controlling ownership interest of around 71% in Century Financial Services Corporation.

The auction was part of a court-supervised sale process for the shares, which were being sold by a court-appointed receiver in the receivership proceeding KS StateBank Corporation v. Peters, et al., pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Bank7 Corp. now faces the final hurdle of obtaining necessary regulatory approvals and fulfilling customary closing conditions. The transaction is anticipated to conclude in the fourth quarter.

Century Financial Services Corporation, founded in 1887, currently operates nine branches in New Mexico, with two additional loan production offices in Texas. As of June 30, 2026, Century Bank reported total assets of $1.36 billion, total deposits of $1.23 billion, and gross loans of $845 million. The acquisition will significantly bolster Bank7 Corp., which currently operates twelve locations across Oklahoma, the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas metropolitan area, and Kansas. Upon completion, the combined organization will manage approximately $3.4 billion in total assets.

"We are excited about the prospects of this acquisition and look forward to working closely with the employees, customers, and communities that Century serves," stated Thomas L. Travis, President and CEO of Bank7 Corp.

The acquisition is anticipated to have a positive impact on the combined organization, potentially enhancing its market presence and financial strength. However, the deal is contingent on regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, which could delay its completion.

Forward-looking statements in the press release indicate that the proposed acquisition could bring significant benefits, including increased asset size and improved market position. Nevertheless, uncertainties remain, such as the court-supervised bidding process, potential for higher or better competing bids, and the possibility of regulatory hurdles.

Bank7 Corp. continues to focus on serving business owners and entrepreneurs by providing fast, consistent, and well-designed loan and deposit products. The company remains committed to its mission of supporting the financial needs of its customers, both in Oklahoma and the surrounding regions.
