Bank of America to Redeem CAD1.425 Billion in Senior Notes

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 4, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Bank of America Corporation has announced its plans to redeem all outstanding principal of CAD425,000,000 of its Floating Rate Senior Notes and CAD1,000,000,000 of its 1.978% Fixed/Floating Rate Senior Notes, due in September 2027, effective September 15, 2026.
According to the release, the redemption will be carried out at 100% of the principal amount for each series, along with any accrued and unpaid interest up to, but excluding, the redemption date. Interest on the notes will cease to accrue on the redemption date. The redemption will be processed in accordance with the procedures of CDS Clearing and Depository Services Inc. The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A. is serving as the trustee, while Computershare Advantage Trust Company of Canada (formerly known as BNY Trust Company of Canada) will act as the paying agent.
