Bank of America to Redeem $2 Billion in Senior Notes

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 4, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Bank of America Corporation announced its plans to redeem all outstanding principal amount of two series of senior notes totaling $2 billion on September 15, 2026. The company will redeem $500 million in Floating Rate Senior Notes due September 2027 and $1,500 million in 5.933% Fixed/Floating Rate Senior Notes due the same month.
According to the press release, the redemption price for both series of notes will be 100% of the principal amount, plus accrued and unpaid interest up to, but excluding, the redemption date. Interest on the Notes will cease to accrue on the redemption date. The redemption process will be facilitated through The Depository Trust Company, with The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A. serving as the trustee and paying agent.
