LOVELAND, Colo., Oct. 14, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- ATS Energy, a developer of solid-state power generation technology, has secured a new investment to accelerate the commercial deployment of its innovative waste-heat-to-electricity conversion system. The company, which was awarded the 2024 Earthshot Prize for its potential to address one of industry's largest sources of wasted energy, is now poised to meet growing market demand.

The investment, following the company's rapid expansion of its customer pipeline and the successful demonstration of its technology, will support the production of proprietary thermoelectric cartridges, a core component of its Solid-State Generators (SSGs). The funds will also enable the completion of the first commercial unit, targeted for deployment by mid-2027. This timeline is designed to shorten the time required to produce and deliver subsequent installations as customer demand continues to grow.

ATS Energy's technology converts industrial waste heat directly into usable electricity without the need for turbines or moving parts. This breakthrough innovation has attracted significant commercial interest, moving the company from early interest to active proposals and a substantial pipeline across multiple industrial sectors.

The company is building its production capabilities with a focus on a capital-efficient manufacturing operation. Rather than investing heavily in its own manufacturing facilities, ATS Energy is developing a production model supported by specialized contract-manufacturing partners. This strategy aims to leverage established manufacturing capabilities, limit capital expenditures, and provide a scalable foundation for future production. The addition of Chief Technology Officer Edward Ganja is part of this effort to guide the company's transition to commercial manufacturing.

Since completing its initial friends-and-family financing in 2025, ATS Energy has experienced a rapid acceleration in market interest, moving from early commercial development toward building a substantial pipeline of opportunities across energy-intensive industries. This momentum has created an opportunity to accelerate the company's commercialization timeline, allowing it to meet growing energy demands.

ATS Energy's technology has been recognized globally, including receiving second place in the Innovations for Traditional Energy, Electricity & the Grid category at the 2026 Energy Venture Day and Pitch Competition during CERAWeek. As industrial operators seek greater energy efficiency, reliable on-site power, and lower operating costs, ATS Energy is working to establish waste-heat-to-electricity conversion as a new source of industrial power.
