HAMILTON, ON, Sept. 4, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- AtomVie Global Radiopharma, a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) in the radiopharmaceutical industry, recently celebrated the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hamilton, Ontario. The 72,300-square-foot facility, located at 10 Aeropark Boulevard, is the largest single-site CDMO facility in North America dedicated to radiopharmaceutical development, marking a significant milestone in the company's growth.

Invested with over $160 million, the new facility is equipped to handle low-to-high throughput production, increasing AtomVie's manufacturing capacity by more than tenfold. This purpose-built facility is designed to support seamless progression from early development to commercial manufacturing, with customizable spaces tailored to the evolving needs of clients. The facility is expected to house over 200 employees by the end of 2026, reflecting the company's commitment to scaling operations.

AtomVie, a spinout of the Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization (CPDC) at McMaster University, has built its reputation on over a decade of expertise in radiopharmaceutical development. The company has supported more than 70 clinical development and technology transfer programs, manufactured over 1,000 cGMP batches, and delivered more than 4,400 cGMP doses to patients across 28 countries and six continents, achieving a delivery success rate of over 99%. With its new facility, AtomVie is well-positioned to continue scaling production, from clinical development to commercial manufacturing, with its partners.
