Stockholm, September 1, 2026 – At the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) 2026, the premium brand AEG showcased a series of innovative kitchen appliances that challenge traditional expectations. The German company introduced the OnePot Pasta hob, designed specifically for cooking perfect pasta dishes with minimal effort, and unveiled the AEG Design Collection, which blends functionality with elegant design.

AEG’s OnePot Pasta hob, a world-first, promises to revolutionize pasta cooking. This hob, part of the AEG 7000 series, simplifies the process by allowing users to set the number of portions and ingredients. After closing the lid, the hob cooks the pasta al dente in 15 minutes, ensuring a consistent and delicious result every time. AEG partnered with the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy, for a sensory test involving over 100 participants, confirming the hob’s ability to produce a tasty and texturally perfect pasta dish.

In addition to the OnePot Pasta hob, AEG launched the AEG ErgoMini, an ultra-light handheld vacuum cleaner that weighs just 0.55 kilograms. Utilizing cyclonic technology, this device offers up to 100% dust pick-up and three times longer suction power between filter cleans compared to other lightweight vacuum cleaners in its class. Also debuting was the AEG Trilobite 8000 GEN2 robot vacuum cleaner, boasting a slim profile and enhanced cleaning capabilities, including up to 40% more suction power and 100% large-debris pick-up.

The AEG Design Collection, recognized with a Red Dot Design Award, features a range of small appliances with both style and functionality. The standout product is the AEG 3-in-1 Pizza Oven, which combines a pizza oven, air fryer, and full-function oven in a compact design. This appliance caters to the growing demand for restaurant-quality home pizza, as 86% of European pizza lovers indicated a preference for homemade pizza, according to AEG’s research.

AEG also emphasized its commitment to laundry solutions with a broad Woolmark-certified laundry range. This includes washers, dryers, and washer-dryers, with the 9000X AbsoluteCare® Pro tumble dryer featuring 3DScan Technology for even drying. AEG's presence at IFA 2026 highlighted the Scandinavian design philosophy of simplicity and innovation, with the Electrolux brand also participating in the event.

AEG’s CEO, Leandro Jasiocha, emphasized the brand’s focus on innovation and individuality. “At AEG, we believe in pushing the boundaries of what’s expected in household appliances. This year’s innovations, like the OnePot Pasta hob and the AEG Design Collection, are testaments to our commitment to enhancing everyday experiences,” he said.

The Art of Hosting, a new program at AEG, aims to transform everyday gatherings into moments of originality. Visitors to the AEG stand can engage in interactive experiences, including live cooking demonstrations and chef-led cooking challenges, which will showcase the brand’s innovations across taste, care, and wellbeing.

The IFA 2026 media conference, scheduled for September 3 at 13:00 CET, will feature live demonstrations of the OnePot Pasta hob by Chef Davide Oldani of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant D'O in Milan. Journalists are invited to attend or view the live stream.
