Actus Digital unveils Actus X to revolutionize broadcast monitoring
At the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC2026) in Amsterdam, Actus Digital, a subsidiary of LiveU, unveiled its latest product, Actus X, which promises to revolutionize broadcast monitoring for media organizations. The new platform is designed to simplify operations, enhance efficiency, and streamline workflows, making it easier for broadcasters to manage their content and technical issues in a rapidly changing media landscape.
The Actus X platform introduces several key features, including a workflow-focused user experience, a next-generation browser-based multiviewer, and AI-based content monitoring. These advancements aim to help broadcasters monitor more channels and formats across various platforms, from linear to digital, with greater ease and accuracy.

The platform's next-generation browser-based multiviewer allows users to create unlimited layouts using drag-and-drop functionality. This flexibility means that users can select the channels, alerts, and technical information that are most relevant to their role, without being restricted to fixed layouts or dedicated monitoring stations. The multiviewer runs entirely within a browser, offering sub-second latency for real-time monitoring, and can be securely accessed from virtually anywhere.
Actus X also integrates seamlessly with the LiveU EcoSystem, with plans for native support of LiveU's Reliable Transport (LRT) technology. This integration will enable broadcasters to ingest LiveU feeds directly into Actus X, benefiting from all Actus monitoring and AI capabilities without the need for protocol conversions. This streamlined process reduces latency, eliminates unnecessary points of failure, and preserves the original video quality.
In addition to these features, Actus X has been rebuilt using advanced software technologies to enhance performance, scalability, and cloud efficiency. The new infrastructure allows for dynamic system configuration, making it easier to adapt to changes in resolution, service launches, and capacity requirements. This flexibility is particularly valuable for temporary services, live events, and fast-changing broadcast environments.
