On September 1, 2026, Chinese heavy industry giant Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. announced plans to further strengthen its local activities in Europe, following a partnership meeting held at its German factory on August 19. The company also visited its German subsidiary, m-tec, to discuss future cooperation in areas such as sales, manufacturing, services, human resource development, and digitalization.

At the partnership meeting, representatives from various European countries discussed market trends, product offerings, and localization strategies. They highlighted improvements in product quality and technological capabilities by Zoomlion, while emphasizing the importance of long-term service commitments, spare parts availability, and a broader product range. Zoomlion's Chairman and CEO, Zhan Chunxin, underscored the strategic significance of Europe for the company and its commitment to a long-term localization strategy.

Zoomlion intends to expand its European spare parts and service network, aiming to reduce response times and increase part availability. Additionally, the company plans to develop a customer-oriented digital service platform designed to automatically allocate service orders and track them throughout the process, providing customers with easier access to information about equipment, spare parts, and services. Zoomlion will continue to introduce new products and technologies to better meet local market demands.

On August 25, Zhan Chunxin visited the production and F&E facilities of m-tec in Germany, where he toured the operations and technological advancements of the subsidiary, including research and development and the applications of 3D printing. Zhan stated that Zoomlion will continue to support m-tec by leveraging the global market presence, F&E expertise, and financial resources of the corporation, while fostering closer collaboration in technology, products, and market development. Since joining Zoomlion in 2014, m-tec has expanded its expertise in mortar mixer machines and construction materials and has collaborated with Zoomlion in technology, products, and markets, becoming a crucial part of the company's European localization strategy.

Zoomlion has established a network of regional sales, service, financing, and manufacturing capabilities in Europe, supported by local production sites such as CIFA in Italy, m-tec, WILBERT, and RABE in Germany, and the Hubarbeitsbühnen factory in Hungary. This local presence allows the company to bring manufacturing, technical know-how, skilled personnel, and customer support closer to European markets.

In the future, Zoomlion will continue to combine global resources with local expertise to enhance customer support and drive long-term growth in Europe.
