Zealand Pharma Completes Share Buy-Back Program Transactions for Week 36

Zealand Pharma, a biotechnology company based in Copenhagen, Denmark, has reported its share buy-back program activities for week 36 of 2026. The company, which focuses on advancing medicines for obesity and metabolic health, executed transactions totaling DKK 30.6 million during the week of August 31 to September 4, 2026.

Under the share buy-back program, Zealand Pharma may repurchase up to DKK 1.3 billion in shares, with the total number of shares to be acquired capped at 7,152,557. The program began on May 7, 2026, and is set to conclude no later than October 31, 2026. Danske Bank has been appointed as the lead manager for the program, tasked with making independent trading decisions.

As of the end of week 36, Zealand Pharma holds 3,916,842 treasury shares, representing approximately 5.47% of the company’s share capital. Each share has a nominal value of DKK 1. The total number of shares outstanding remains at 71,578,758.

The transactions executed during the week were carried out in accordance with Article 5 of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation, "MAR") and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052 (the "Safe Harbour Regulation").
