Yutong, a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles, has unveiled the T14, a premium tourist coach designed for the European market. The new model, which combines comfort, economy, intelligent features, and powerful performance, aims to elevate long-distance travel experiences and expand Yutong’s T-Series lineup.
The T14 is equipped with a DAF MX-13 series engine, delivering 350 kW of power and 2,500 N•m of torque. This robust powertrain ensures the vehicle can handle diverse operating scenarios, from mountain passes to coastal routes. Additionally, the vehicle features a Bosch steering system with a minimum turning diameter of 21 meters, enhancing maneuverability and adaptability to various terrains.
For passenger comfort, the T14 includes a smart dual-zone climate control system capable of maintaining a consistently comfortable interior in both freezing and scorching conditions. The cabin is designed with eco-friendly, low-odor materials, ensuring an odor level of no higher than 2.5 at 40°C and no higher than 3.0 at 80°C. A fresh-air ventilation system complements the climate control, keeping the atmosphere crisp and clean.
The T14 also prioritizes driver convenience through an intelligent cockpit system. Featuring a 10.25-inch instrument display and a 12.8-inch smart central control screen, the system supports full-vehicle 1080P HD monitoring and a 360-degree panoramic view. It includes ambient lighting control, mobile phone connectivity with screen mirroring, and USB connectivity, reducing the number of physical switches by 60% for a simplified user interface. The vehicle is equipped with a suite of intelligent driver assistance features, including adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane departure warning system (LDWS), automatic emergency braking system (AEBS), and anti-slip regulation (ASR).
On the economy front, the T14 employs an Electronic Control Air Suspension (ECAS) system that adjusts the body height automatically based on vehicle speed, reducing drag by 20%. This is achieved through the use of electronic rear-view mirrors and a streamlined front-wall design, which lower the drag coefficient to 0.48. Further energy efficiency is achieved through the BlueCore intelligent fuel-saving system and electric fans, resulting in a 2% to 3% fuel saving.
Inside, the T14 offers a range of amenities designed to cater to long-distance travel. It features 26 premium speakers and a front-center 22-inch HD display, creating an immersive audiovisual experience. Practical features like a refrigerator, toilet, water dispenser, and charging ports are also included to ensure the comfort of passengers.
