Yocale.ai, an AI-powered operating system for the beauty and wellness industry, has updated its financial statements for the first half of the year, reflecting a significant change in the accounting classification of a payment made in February.

On February 23, 2026, Yocale.ai made an advance payment of $158,000 for a platform module license and access program with Yocale Network Corporation (YNC). Initially, this expense was categorized as an advertising and marketing expense. However, the company has now amended its financial statements to classify this payment as a prepaid platform module, recorded under prepaid expenses and deposits.

This reclassification has impacted the company’s financials for the three and six months ending February 28, 2026. As a result of the correction, the company's current assets increased by $158,000, while advertising and marketing expenses, net loss, and the comprehensive loss for the respective periods were reduced by the same amount.

Specifically, the net loss for the three months ended February 28, 2026, was revised downward from $1,045,480 to $887,480, with an adjusted loss per share of $0.02. For the six months, the net loss decreased from $1,991,527 to $1,833,527, and the loss per share was updated to $0.03.

Additionally, the company has reclassified its deferred consideration payable to YNC from current liabilities to non-current liabilities. This change did not affect the total amount of deferred consideration payable.

Yocale.ai operates as an integrated system for beauty and wellness businesses, unifying bookings, payments, client engagement, and day-to-day operations. Founded on over a decade of development through the Yocale platform, the company supports thousands of service providers across more than 22 countries.

The update to the financial statements aims to provide a more accurate representation of the company’s financial position and operations. The amended and restated financial statements and management’s discussion and analysis are now available on SEDAR+.
