NICOSIA, Cyprus, Sept. 18, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Xryma Plc, a banktech group providing cross-border open banking, international transactional banking, and real-time EU and UK payment services, has reported its audited first-half 2026 financial results for the six months ended 30 June 2026. The company, which also offers banking software and technology to third-party banks and financial institutions, has positioned itself for its next phase of growth by prioritizing strategic investments.

Ajay Treon, Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Xryma Plc, stated that the first half of 2026 was within the strategic investment period outlined to shareholders. The company made a conscious decision to focus on the infrastructure and new opportunities required for its future growth, accepting the near-term impact this would have on client revenue and profitability.

Despite the focus on strategic investments, Xryma Plc has maintained a strong financial position. The company ended the first half of 2026 with €59.4 million in net assets and €50.9 million in cash, while remaining profitable. The group reported a profit after tax of €0.03 million, compared to €12.3 million in the same period of the previous year.

Xryma Plc's Technology Services, as defined in the Prospectus, continued to show strong growth, with revenue increasing by 77% to €1.65 million from €0.93 million in the first half of 2025. This growth is attributed to the company's recurring SaaS and Banking Platform income, alongside higher-value consulting, bespoke development, and customisation revenues.

The company's client revenue, however, decreased to €16.9 million from €27.7 million in the first half of 2025, reflecting the anticipated near-term impact of prioritizing strategic investment and deferring certain complementary enhancements to existing products and services.

Nikogiannis Karantzis, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Xryma Plc, expressed confidence in the company's future, stating, "Our commitment to delivering outstanding products and services to our existing customers remains unwavering. We are dedicated to expanding our customer base and increasing revenues in the second half of 2026, following the deep infrastructure upgrades of 2025 and the first half of 2026."

Karantzis also announced that the company's Prospectus was approved by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) on the 14th of July 2026. The company intends to advance its stock exchange listing plans, providing liquidity to existing shareholders, broadening access to capital markets, and supporting the group's long-term growth ambitions.

Xryma Plc has achieved significant strategic milestones, including the completion of direct Eurosystem T2 integration in June 2026, following a successful notification of participation in October 2025. The company continues to make progress across TIPS, PaidBy® Mastercard, and XrymaCoin.

The company expects to see the first signs of commercial momentum in the fourth quarter of 2026, with the benefits of the strategic investment programme beginning to materialise from 2027 through revenue growth and operating leverage.
