XCF Global and DevvStream Reschedule Special Meetings for Business Combination

XCF Global and DevvStream, two companies involved in sustainable energy solutions, have rescheduled their respective special meetings originally set for September 10, 2026. The meetings, which are in connection with a proposed business combination involving XCF Global, DevvStream, and Southern Energy Renewables Inc., will now be held on September 17, 2026, and September 24, 2026, for DevvStream and XCF Global, respectively.
According to a press release, the postponement is to allow for additional time to complete preparations for the meetings. The record date for determining stockholders and shareholders entitled to vote remains the same, set for July 29, 2026. Shareholders who have already submitted their proxies are advised that their votes will remain valid and will be voted at the rescheduled meetings, unless they choose to change or revoke their vote.
XCF Global, a sustainable aviation fuel company, is working to advance a pipeline of potential expansion opportunities in Nevada, North Carolina, and Florida. DevvStream, a carbon management company, focuses on developing, investing in, and selling environmental assets such as carbon credits and renewable energy certificates. Southern Energy Renewables Inc., a clean fuels developer, aims to produce carbon-negative SAF and green methanol through large-scale biomass-to-fuels projects.
Both companies are committed to advancing the transition to net-zero emissions and are leveraging their respective expertise in sustainable aviation fuels and carbon management to drive this goal. The rescheduling of the meetings reflects a collaborative effort to ensure thorough and informed decision-making by the stakeholders involved.
